Shipping & Delivery

We only ship to UK-based addresses.
Please allow up to 7-14 working days for your order, although in most cases our turnaround is approx 4 - 8 working days.
If there are any delays we will contact you.

Some items may be sent to you directly from Drapes of Scarborough using other delivery services other then Yodel, such as Royal Mail. Our aim is a 7 day turn around, but due to the nature of made to measure items, this could cause a slight delay in you receiving your order and some items may be sent to your directly from our suppliers using other delivery services.

Orders placed on a Friday or over the weekend will not be processed until the following Monday.

Your credit / debit card is charged prior to dispatch.

Privacy & Security

Your security is important to us and that is why we are using a reputable payment system, "PayPal".

Your payment and account information is securely stored on PayPal's servers. In addition, all your purchase information will be encrypted during transmission with industry-standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology over HTTPS.

We do not use any of your details other than for processing your order. We will not pass your details onto any other company, or will we use them to send you communication.

We are also able to take payment over the telephone with a credit/debit card, you can either complete the order online and choose the "Pay by Telephone" option and we will call you back to complete your order, or you can call the store on 01723 449982 and place your entire order over the telephone.

Returns & Replacements
We are confident that all our products will reach you in a highly satisfactory manner. If this is not the case please email us at: sales@drapesofscarborough.com
Please provide your order number and a description of the problem. We will promptly deal with your queries and if necessary arrange for a replacement to be sent without delay.
Your Rights to Cancellation under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
This website page confirmation satisfies the requirement under these regulations for us (the supplier) to supply you (the consumer) with written, durable information about your rights of cancellation of this order.
You have the right to cancel an order for any reason within 7 working days from the day after the date of receipt of the goods.(This does not apply to any Custom Made / Made to Measure Items) Notice of cancellation should be made via phone on 01723 449982, or by email to sales@drapesofscarborough.com
The goods should be returned to us at our registered address at your expense within 30 days and must be undamaged, unused and in the same condition as when received by you. Until such time as they are received into our premises, you are responsible for any loss or damage to those goods.
Unfortunately we cannot refund products without the original packaging or products that have been trimmed or adjusted in any way.
We are happy to offer you an exchange or a refund provided that the items are returned complete, unused, in perfect condition, (in the case of pencil pleat curtains, the heading tape strings must not have been pulled tight and/or tied), and with the original packaging. drapesofscarborough.com, accept no liability for any costs incurred for the return of these goods, unless in the opinion of drapesofscarborough.com the goods are deemed faulty. If your goods are faulty, we will gladly provide you with a replacement.
Once we have received the returned goods, we will refund the purchase price within 30 days. Our original carriage charges incurred when sending out the parcel are not refundable. drapesofscarborough.com, accept no liability for any costs incurred for the return of these goods, unless in the opinion of drapesofscarborough.com the goods are deemed faulty.

Your Statutory Rights are not affected.

Ordering Information

Readymade curtain information
Please be aware that due to the way readymade curtains are manufactured, we cannot guarantee the pattern repeat is correct. We do not accept liability for this issue.

All sizes are approximate.

Net Curtains
We recommend that voile net curtains should have hems sewn either side to stop the fraying of the material.
Colour Information
Due to the nature of photography and differences in screen technologies, we cannot guarantee that the colour displayed will fully reflect the product featured.
Payment, Pricing & Promotions
All our payments are processed through PayPal or through a card transaction over the telephone. Any promotion offered on the Drapes Of Scarborough website can be withdrawn at any time and is under discretion of the Drapes Of Scarborough team.
Viewing Orders
You can view all your orders from within "My Account" as well as update your details and see any status updates that have been applied to your order.
Christmas Delivery

From the 30th November we will not be able to guarantee deliveries for Christmas.
However if your order is important, please call our main store number on 01723 449982 and ask if it is possible to fulfil an order after this date.
